I’m a bit of a yoga groupie when it comes to Brigitte’s yoga retreats, having been on my first in 2009 I’ve never missed a year since.
First and foremost, it’s a holiday for me where I happen to do a lot of yoga and I love that Brigitte stresses that on day 1 allowing you the option to attend as few or as many of the sessions as you see fit. Generally, I go to all of them. The mornings are theme based creative vinyasa flows of about 2 hours duration and the evenings are shorter in duration and might include yin yoga, chanting, meditation, therapeutics or yoga Nidra. She has a broad spectrum of yoga tools at her disposal so no retreat is like the next which makes them such a pleasure to go on.
From beginners to advanced students, everyone will get something from the experience, and I would highly recommend it to all.

Everything is so well organised and there is a healthy mix of less experienced yogis, seasoned yogi’s and yoga teachers (there for their own holiday, not to teach). I first went on retreat with Brigitte after deciding I needed to get out of my comfort zone and face some fears. I had never been away on my own and never flown for more than 4 hours so after Brigitte was recommended to me I decided to jump in at the deep end and go to Goa with her.
