Im finding more and more at this stage in my life that advanced asana is no longer a vital part of my practice, it really doesn’t float my boat like it used to and just isn’t that important to me. What is important to me is purifying breath work, free movement, warming my muscles, lubricating my joints, sitting in meditation and walking out in nature so that I get my daily dose of fresh air. Generally I just want to feel good about myself and feel balanced. I guess maturity means I have less hormones, less stress, less ego, less mind chatter and more than that, I know myself, I can be fully myself without apology and let myself off the hook without any guilt at all which is so utterly liberating. ☺️ #lovingbeing50
